My home town, Plymouth. Through my eyes.
Plymouth is a special place, especially when the sun is shining. Many a time people have commented on my imagery that is is very similar to southern France. I have never been there, so I will take your word for it.

People are out in force, all walks of life enjoying the sun and the views. And I’m just there to snap away and capture the moments. I thought I would start documenting my hometown through my lens. I spend many hours looking at other photographers working on the street and think to myself, I need to shoot some of that myself.

I used to say to my other half, Plymouth never feels alive. She’s from Liverpool originally, so when we visit there, I always notice how alive the place feels, not matter what time of the day it was. It has such a community spirit, a people's place. With my parents and grandparents being scousers as well, Liverpool was always a place close to my heart and what the people of Liverpool are. And I am starting to feel that in Plymouth, it’s coming to life again. How I always remember it as a kid. Somewhere along the line, Plymouth died a little.
I could post hundred of shots from my walks around Plymouth, but there’s enough here to get the sense of how beautiful this place is. If you made it this far, have a great day.
Peace out.
